Hi, I am Shadé Conradie, the owner of Shadé van As Biokineticists.

I have two degrees, BA Sports Psychology (2014) and a BA Hons Biokinetics, both completed at the University of Johannesburg. In 2016 I completed my internship at Irena Nowak and Associates Inc. , a clinic situated on Bunting road at the University of Johannesburg, where I gained vast experience in Neurological and chronic illness. In 2017 I stated my journey at the Virgin Active in Sunward Park and have never looked back. I have developed a special interest in orthopaedics as well as chronic conditions such as Parkinson’s disease. Over the past few years I have gained a lot of knowledge from fellow colleagues and the wide spectrum of patients attending Biokinetics. I have had the privilege of working with many challenging cases in both orthopaedic injuries and chronic conditions. I have experience in both aquatic and land based therapeutic interventions.

Working with people and making a difference in their lives is my passion. I am always ready for a challenge and I strive to make a difference in people’s lives, as I believe that is what biokinetics is about.
